Our Organization
Christian Horizons is a non-profit evangelical Christian organization that works to enhance the quality of life for persons with developmental disabilities in Ontario. We care for the whole person: emotionally, intellectually, physically, socially and spiritually. Our services are funded by Ontario’s Ministry of Community and Social Services and Ministry of Children and Youth Services. Christian Horizons also has ministries funded by donations from businesses, churches, families and other supporters.
Meet our Executive Director | East District
 Jackie Morforton has worked with Christian Horizons for the past 25 years and became East District Executive Director in early 2010. In this role, she oversees the work of more than 430 caring and competent support staff.
Jackie began her career as a Support Worker and progressed through various management positions. She holds a Developmental Services Worker diploma from Algonquin College and is committed to continuing education to enhance her ministry to the people supported by Christian Horizons.
Jackie is married to her husband, Alan, and they have two daughters. The Morfontons are long-time Ottawa residents and attend St. Andrews Parish. |
