Volunteers
As a volunteer, there are countless ways you can make a difference in the lives of persons with developmental disabilities by sharing your time and talents. You could:
- teach a new skill, such as gardening or computer skills
- share a hobby like baseball, hockey, baking or painting
- accompany someone to a sporting event, a musical performance or shopping
- accompany someone on a vacation or excursion
- assist with summer camp
- simply hang out and go for a walk or watch t.v.
As a volunteer, you’ll gain valuable skills and experience – and you’ll enjoy meeting new friends and colleagues.
