SUPPORT
We offer our guests both 3:1 and 1:1 support ratio options. We regret that we cannot provide supports for challenging or aggressive behaviour.
LIABILITY
Christian Horizons, its employees and agents shall not be liable or responsible for any injury to the person or damage to property that may result from any cause whatsoever. Christian Horizons reserves the right to modify prices, vacation dates or means of transportation at any given time. If this is necessary, we will give you as much advance notice as possible. Furthermore, Christian Horizons reserves the rights to substitute accommodation, transportation, activities and leaders, and to alter itineraries when necessary. Substitution will be of a similar nature when possible. If this is not possible, we will refund you the value of the difference.
Christian Horizons shall not be responsible or liable for any missed connections caused by transport carriers. Our responsibility begins when we receive a guest into our care from family, support providers, or public carriers. Detailed guest care information may need to be reviewed with those providing transportation.
DEPOSIT
Please enclose a $200 deposit or the full amount along with your registration for each vacation. Deposits are non-refundable unless the registration is not accepted or openings are not available; in which case, the full deposit will be refunded. The balance of your vacation fee is due 60 days prior to the start of the vacation.
CANCELLATION
If you are forced to cancel your vacation due to illness or emergency, you must notify Christian Horizons. Failing to send the balance of your fees does not constitute cancellation. Written cancellation of at least 60 days prior to vacation commencement, or cancellation due to illness, with a supporting medical certificate, will receive a full refund, minus deposit and non-refundable prepaid expenses. This does not include partnership excursions with Great Canadian Tours. Individuals sent home because of support related concerns or inappropriate behaviour will receive a pro-rated refund minus deposit and non-refundable prepaid expenses.
