Our Organization
Christian Horizons is a non-profit evangelical Christian organization that works to enhance the quality of life for persons with developmental disabilities in Ontario. We care for the whole person: emotionally, intellectually, physically, socially and spiritually. Our services are funded by Ontario’s Ministry of Community and Social Services and Ministry of Children and Youth Services. Christian Horizons also has ministries funded by donations from businesses, churches, families and other supporters.
Meet our Executive Director | West District
 Patty Vlaar-Philbrick
has served with Christian Horizons for more than 20 years assuming a variety of positions with increasing responsibility. Executive Director for the past two years, Patty oversees the work of more than 600 caring support staff. She believes it’s a privilege to serve in this role and positively influence and enhance the lives of people with developmental disabilities. She has a degree in psychology and social work from Calvin College in Grand Rapids, Michigan. |
