Fundraiser 2007 - Event Highlights
CH Staff pose for a picture | On Friday, March 2, 2007, 170 people gathered at Piazza Banquet Hall in Hamilton to celebrate the ministry of Christian Horizons. Our goal was to raise funds for Day Programs in Hamilton, Niagara, Waterloo, Halton and Peel and for Christian Horizons’ global work.
The gathering welcomed CH staff, supporters and special guests including Hugh Robinson our Ministry of
Community and Social Services Program Supervisor from the Central-West Regional Office.
Dinner at globally themed tables | Guests enjoyed the candy buffet and live music while bidding on Silent Auction items prior to the lovely meal.
Presentations by the West District Day Programs were a big highlight of the event. The evening ended with a live auction before the announcement of the proceeds raised during the evening. The final donation tally exceeded $15,000 after all expenses!
Day program performers | The West District Leadership team wishes to thank Ed Sider for his involvement and support. We also want to recognize the efforts of Laura Watson-Russell who was instrumental in organizing the event. Special thanks go to our many sponsors, performers and guests for the wonderful support we received!
