Course Name: Responding to Reports
- Developed by: Christian Horizons
- Description: Some refer to this course as training for Inquiry teams. Others call it "Reducing the Risk, part 2". This is mandatory for all managers, and for support workers who are elected to serve on inquiry teams. It helps to navigate the complex challenges associated with allegations of abuse. The course addresses practical questions, and allows participants to apply course content to realistic case studies to make the learning both dynamic and relevant.

Course Name: Emergency First Aid/CPR
- Developed by: Red Cross, St. Johns or other providers.
- Description: Participate in a fun, interactive learning environment. Learn simple techniques for First Aid and CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation). Learn safety and healthy lifestyle choices which are key to illness and injury prevention. Red Cross Instructors individualize the training and provide continuous feedback which increases skill retention so that participants are more likely to feel prepared to apply skills in an emergency situation.

- Description: This course is for leaders and "up and coming" leaders. The premise of the course is to learn how to be better influencers, so we can increase our ability to lead others effectively. Styles of leadership discussed include Self-Leadership, Situational Leadership and Servant Leadership.

- Description: A behaviour management system designed to safely manage crisis situations that involve verbal and physical acting out behaviour.

Course Name: Nonviolent Crisis Intervention
- Developed by: Crisis Prevention Institute
- Description: The Nonviolent Crisis Intervention® program, developed by the Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI), not only teaches staff to respond effectively to the warning signs that someone is beginning to lose control, but also addresses how staff can deal with their own stress, anxieties, and emotions when confronted with these challenging situations.You can learn how to avoid and take control of an out-of-control situation with the Nonviolent Crisis Intervention® training program.
