We are expanding our borders and cooperating with organizations to share mutual concerns, skills, knowledge, resources and compassion to countries worldwide.
CH Global is a program within Christian Horizons that responds to the staggering needs facing persons with disabilities throughout the world today. Our global focus is to improve living conditions, champion for human rights, promote social awareness, provide education and training, and to promote greater opportunities for individuals with disabilities. Some of our services include; supported camps and vacations, staff training and rehabilitation projects.

Christian Horizons is concentrating its global efforts in the following areas:
Rehabilitation Training We work with staff involved in rehabilitative measures for the disabled in other countries to:
build capacities of organizations
increase competencies and skill sets of staff
facilitate innovative programming
provide networking and resources
conduct research and needs assessment
Special Needs Camp
In some situations we are aiding organization that already have special needs camps in place while in other countries we are initiating first time programs to:
enhance quality of life and health of persons having disabilities
promote participation and integration
build relationships, cooperation, empowerment and confidence
nurture faith, character and Godly values
increase physical and social capacities
develop creative, artistic and intellectual abilities
give inspiration for a life of service
Child Sponsorship
Christian Horizons has an incredible opportunity to bring hope to individuals with disabilities and children at risk. Our goal is to reach thousands of exceptional children from such countries as Ecuador, Ethiopia, Guatemala, India, Russia, Sri Lanka, Sudan and Zimbabwe. Our child sponsorship program provides:

Special Needs Education
Education is critical for persons with disabilities to encourage social inclusiveness and personal development. Our Special Needs Education focus is to:
develop physical, mental, social and spiritual potential of special needs students
offer standard, flexible and quality education
enable equal participation of female special needs students
increase capacity of teachers through education programs
strengthen the special needs education system
provide education materials and resources
Disability Ministry in Churches
Christian Horizons helps churches in other countries to become accessible and aware of the needs facing the disabled in their communities. We educate church leaders on how their congregations can involve themselves in ministering to those with exceptional needs. Our focus is to:
create awareness, vision and commitment
offer modules and programs for congregational ministry
mobilize disability resources and learning forums
help to develop church networking
encourage and enhance giving by churches
utilize unused and underused facilities
Community Based Residential Services
Providing two types of family-based supports:
Family Type Homes:
A home-like environment for 6 to 10 children
Children cared for by professional childcare workers
Children learn daily living skills including; personal care, meal preparation, housekeeping, and spiritual education
Children develop gifts and skills in sport, music, art, etc.
Formal education from primary to university level
Family Support Program:
Provides substitute homes for orphans/children whose families are unable to provide a safe and nurturing environment
Children receive monthly financial assistance, ongoing counseling, academic follow-up, and health care assistance
Micro-credit and Income Generating Projects
Providing programs for parents and youth in extreme poverty that:
Build the community's capacity to care for children by providing income-earning opportunities
Address the root causes of poverty through integrated projects consisting of:
micro credit and savings/health services
facilitating opportunities for basic education
family planning and advisory service
development of small business enterprises (woodworking, tailoring, dairy farming, crafts, and other ventures)
