Jean Vanier's special Canada 150 message

Jean Vanier's special Canada 150 message

It’s hard to believe we’re just over two months away from Canada’s 150th anniversary celebration. In anticipation of that exciting milestone, Cardus released a special video message last month featuring Jean Vanier, a Companion of the Order of Canada, Templeton Prize winner, and founder of L’Arche. If you haven’t already seen his touching and uplifting message, produced in cooperation with our partners at L’Arche and Christian Horizons, I would encourage you to watch it here or below. I’m sure you’ll enjoy Vanier’s message about the importance, dignity, and inherent value of all Canadians, regardless of their faith.

I hope that Vanier’s message resonates with you and your community as you plan your own way to celebrate Canada’s sesquicentennial anniversary. And it would be great if you would share the link to Vanier’s special message within your community and through your social media accounts. Let’s join together to celebrate the last 150 years of Canadian history and look forward with great hope for the future.
