Are you in high school and undecided of what career path you might want to pursue? Explore career options and develop professional skills with this exciting March Break Experience.

Course Description

This fun and interactive course promotes self-discovery. Students will explore career interests and receive hands on employment skills through participation in volunteer work experiences. By the end of the course students will have begun their own customized career plan. This course develops foundational skills and confidence for those who are transitioning into employment.

Summer Culinary Employment College Experience

Course Description

This three-week course provides high school students and young adults with practical life skills and valuable hands on employment training in a college and work setting.

Students receive five days of hands-on education in a culinary lab, learning basic knife and food preparation skills taught by qualified Humber College instructors. Participants also engage in a 10-day, fun and interactive employment workshop facilitated by Christian Horizons Employment Specialists, which includes volunteer work experience with a job coach.
